OUR FEES
At Miller & Hine, we are aware that nobody makes financial plans or saves up for a criminal defense attorney. Since criminal charges usually come as a surprise, we charge an affordable price to help accommodate each potential client. We recognize that finances are now always readily available in a lump sum. Below is a list of what we charge:
- $50 – Warrant Recalls
- $500 – 1st Time DWI
- $700 – 1st Time DWI Refusal
- “$250 – Municipal Court Offenses (Possession, Assault, Peace Disturbance, Destruction of Property, etc.)
- $400 – Misdemeanors
- $800 – Class D Felonies
- $1200 – Class C Felonies

The initial consultation at our office is always free. At this consultation, you will learn the various options that are available to you and what it will cost to hire an attorney from Miller & Hine. The free consultation is also an opportunity for us to provide you with general information about the legal process and what to expect.
FAIR & FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLANS
Miller & Hine will work out financial arrangements with each client and/or family to accommodate full legal representation. We always require a down payment (retainer) to assure that an attorney will be present at the next hearing. After the retainer, we will work with you to set up a monthly payment plan. If a monthly payment plan doesn’t work, we will seek to accommodate any other request to make the payment process as easy as possible.
